When you stand a few inches away from a painting, you can see all of the brushstrokes, smudges, and the smallest mistakes. It's hard to see what the painting even is, being so close. You mistake the smudges and imperfect pieces of the painting for mistakes, but don't realize until you step back a few yards that the artist planned those little imperfect smudges, used them accordingly to create the big, beautiful picture. I give my final presentation of my senior speech today. I passed my in-class presentation with a high A, so I'm not as worried as I thought I would be. Wish me luck!!!! I'm about to go change into my nice clothes.. woo!
